Each day for a total of one week, viewers had the chance to vote online between 5 top towns to appear on season 5 of Small Business Revolution, Fredonia being one of them.

Fredonia managed to keep the lead the entire week, the contest coming to a conclusion Tuesday night as Fredonia residents, students and supporters alike gathered at the Opera House for a live stream event at 8 pm where the results would be announced.

Hundreds rose to their feet as Amanda Brinkman, co-host of Small Business Revolution, appeared on stage shortly after Fredonia was announced winner over the live stream broadcast. “The crowd was so excited when it was announced that we had won. You could tell that everyone had put a lot of hard work into voting and getting their friends and families to vote as well.” Says Julia Haley, former president of the Fredonia Delta Phi Epsilon chapter. “It really showed that everyone’s hard work had paid off! It was awesome to see people from all ages celebrating Fredonia together,” said Haley.
