Re:                  fredonia.edu/continuity

The Provost’s Office has developed a faculty resource website (fredonia.edu/continuity) that provides digital instruction resources for faculty, copies of Provost Office memos, and Reed Library Resources for faculty. The site is being updated daily. We are developing a section for students within the website that will house information on digital instruction and academic support services.

We have also mobilized a Digital Instruction Support Team that includes Mike Dunham, Dawn Eckenrode, Kathleen Gradel, Mike Jabot, Janet Mayer, Scott Richmond, and Susan Spangler. This team of OnCourse “superusers” will be available all semester for training, guidance and assistance. Please watch your email for updated schedules on specific OnCourse modules.  …  Please join me in thanking the members of the support team, along with Lisa Melohusky and the Digital Instruction Support Team, for their willingness to share their expertise and help us navigate this challenging transition.

I am extremely grateful to the many faculty and staff who have provided guidance, time, and expertise to support our students during this extraordinary time. Recognizing that this is a challenging time for everyone, it is especially traumatizing for our students.  Please consider sending a short message of reassurance to your students through News Forum in OnCourse. Let them know that you are available to support them and that you understand this is disruptive and stressful.
