On Saturday September 26, women’s tennis had a tough SUNYAC loss after falling one point short to Oswego in doubles. Fredonia’s one point in doubles came from duo of juniors, Halee Dickinson and Chloe Cohen. Samantha Pedneault, Olivia Miller and Chloe Karnisky were all singles winners, which boosted Fredonia to only a 5-4 loss.

“Both team were equally matched and all conditions were normal, it was just a tough loss, but we will bounce right back from it,” said Cohen. “This match was also Oswego’s senior day so there was a larger crowd than normal.

This loss made Fredonia fall 3-4 overall and 0-3 in the conference. The Blue Devil’s next game is this Monday (9/28) at home where they will host Alfred Saxons at 4 p.m.
