Everything you need to know about fantasy football

Note: This was written during the 1 p.m. games Sunday, Sept. 23.

If you don’t have a good QB, look for one. In any one quarterback league from six to 12 people in it, there will be good players available.

One player to look for that isn’t likely to be available is Pat Mahomes. The man is a monster to opposing defenses and should automatically be in your starting lineup.

Names to look for that are more likely to be available are Philip Rivers, Andy Dalton and Alex Smith.

For running backs, look for the injuries and grab those backups. Giovani Bernard may be available and a good option with Joe Mixon being out.

Other options to consider are Matt Breida, Corey Clement, Aaron Jones and a deep dive Ito Smith.

Wide Receivers are tough this year. There aren’t many guys doing anything special, but there are guys that can get you points: Keelan Cole, Kenny Golladay, Geronimo Allison and Paul Richardson.

In the tight end position, it is no man’s land. You just gotta pick a guy with a cool name and roll with it.

In all seriousness, though, you gotta look for George Kittle, Eric Ebron, Ricky Seals-Jones and Jesse James. Any of these guys could be available and get you a touchdown for six points.

Kickers are better for scoring points consistently than just about any position, so find someone good.

Dan Bailey just signed a deal, and the Vikings got smoked against Buffalo, so he could be there after a sad fan drops him.

Josh Lambo has hit a large amount of field goals (15) in a row dating back to last year.

If Greg Zuerlein is still out for the next week, Sam Ficken is another great pickup, with many kicking opportunities due to the Rams potent offense.

In the defensive world, are the Bills back, or are the Bills back? I still wouldn’t trust them against the Packers, but they may be worth a roster stash.

Other defensive streaming options are the Bears, the Bengals, the Chargers and the Dolphins.

This is it. If you want more in depth analysis on these players, you might be reading your fantasy football information from the wrong place.
