The NFL combine is over and now all 32 teams are focused on the draft. The scouts and general managers have a lot of work to do in the next month to make sure their team drafts the right player. They are spending hours watching college film, the activities from the combine and heading off to player’s pro days at their respective colleges.

 

This draft class is filled with many talented players, with most of them on the defensive side.

Many young defensemen are expected to be taken at the top of the NFL draft. A number of the elite prospects are game wreckers and can have an immediate impact in the league.

 

These are the 10 best college prospects coming into the NFL this season.

Junior — Ohio State

 

  1. Josh Allen — Edge Rusher

Senior — Kentucky

 

  1. Quinnen Williams — Defensive Tackle

(RS) Sophomore — Alabama

 

  1. Christian Wilkins — Defensive Tackle

Senior — Clemson

 

  1. Josh Jacobs — Running Back

Junior — Alabama

 

  1. Devin White — Linebacker

Junior — LSU

 

  1. T.J. Hockenson — Tight End

(RS) Sophomore — Iowa

 

  1. Montez Sweat — Edge Rusher

Senior — Mississippi State

 

  1. Jawaan Taylor — Offensive Tackle

Junior — Florida

 

  1. D.K. Metcalf — Wide Receiver

(RS) Sophomore — Ole Miss
