Fredonia sports update

Last weekend, Fredonia’s women’s volleyball team faced both Cortland and Oswego at home.

Despite a close first set, Cortland prevailed with the final being 0-3.

The sets with Oswego were all very close, but Fredonia fell short 0-3.

Their next match will take place this Friday, Oct. 25 at Potsdam. The team plays Plattsburgh the following day. Their overall record now stands at 8-15.

Their next home match will be against Medaille on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.

This weekend, the men’s and women’s soccer teams will be playing Oswego this Friday, Oct. 25.

Their current records stand at 5-7-4 for the men and 5-8-2 for the women.

The following day, both Fredonia soccer teams are scheduled to play Cortland. Men’s soccer will be in Fredonia at 1 p.m. while the women’s team plays in Cortland at the same time.

On Saturday, Oct. 26, both men’s and women’s swimming/diving will be travelling to RIT for a meet.

This will be their second meet of the season.
