Police Notters

 

Monday, Nov. 19

3:39 a.m. University Police were called to the scene of a hit and run. When confronting the driver, he had moved to the passenger’s seat and claimed that the driver fled. He was charged with reckless driving and bad lying.

Tuesday, Nov. 20

5:45 p.m. A noise complaint was made in the Ma­son Hall vicinity. Upon further inspection, it was revealed to be music students sobbing because they had to stay on campus during Thanksgiving break.

Thursday, Nov. 22

2:32 p.m. University Police responded to multiple instances of violent outbursts across campus. Appar­ently, not even “Friendsgiving” is safe from political arguments and fistfights.

Friday, Nov. 23

7:30 a.m. University Police were called to provide backup at the local Wal-Mart to control the Black Friday chaos. Three officers were injured when one customer beat his way through the crowd with a rubber chicken.

5:23 p.m. Once again, University Police were called to Wal-Mart. The three aforementioned officers were put on administrative leave after refusing to go and relive their past trauma.

Saturday, Nov. 24

12:09 a.m. On patrol, officers found a student drag­ging a television across campus. When questioned. The student explained that he got it from Black Friday shopping but didn’t have a car.

12:11 a.m. A television was reported stolen from the Village Townhouses. An investigation is on-going.
