Hi everyone. I know you all expect top-quality content from me every week, but alas, I am feeling quite lazy. Instead of some amazing article about the news or some hot take on a campus issue, here’s some different pasta types I like, in no particular order.
1. Elbow Noodles. The classic. These bad boys can be used for a lot of different things, like mac and cheese. Or even just classic red sauce pasta. God, I love pasta.
2. Spaghetti. Can’t beat this household name noodle. This long stretchy boi is delicious and great for slurping up. Tomato sauce, alfredo, pesto, whatever kind of sauce you want, go for it! This is so fun, I had no idea how fun writing about noodles could be!
3. Rigatoni. Honestly, I just like the name of this one. It’s one of those Italian food names you just love to say, like “stromboli” or “pastrami.” It’s a pretty average noodle really, I just love the name.
4. Ravioli. I’m actually not the biggest fan of ravioli. It’s not bad, don’t get me wrong, but I usually choose a different noodle over this one. I get overwhelmed from the stuff inside, my poor old bones can’t handle the surprise inside.
5. Rotelle. Okay, after Google searching “noodle types,” I found some interesting pasta types I’ve never actually seen myself, and holy crap rotelle looks cool as hell. It’s like a little wheel made out of noodles, can’t get more badass than that.
6. Penne. Thought I’d throw another classic into the mix just to keep my pasta rookies attention. Penne is a classic, and I can imagine it in my belly right now, yum yum.
7. Spighe. I am so upset right now. To end off this list, here’s an absolute wild card of a pasta type. This is literally just a leaf-shaped noodle. I cannot believe this. Absolutely insane.
So yeah, that’s my list. Feel free to email me if you want to talk about pasta. I’m pretty into this stuff, I think it’s pretty tasty.
The moral of this article is to eat pasta, and to study for your exams. I’m so glad I could go on this intense journey with all of you today.
