Trump says Biden is a bunch of ferrets in a trench coat

Once again, Donald Trump has been convinced of an out-of-this-world conspiracy theory that he found on social media.

In a recent flurry of tweets, the president makes it clear that he is under the impression that vice president Joe Biden, the 2020 democratic candidate, is secretly a number of ferrets in a trenchcoat.

It seems as though President Trump had arrived at this conclusion by stumbling across a TikTok uploaded by its creator, who uses the account name @Ferret_Truther.

The video goes into some detail about their conspiracy theory, namely that when The Ferret Truther met Biden, he made a number of “quiet, suspiciously ferret-like noises,” and that Biden has a history of tasting chicken-flavored baby food.

This is not the first time Donald Trump has fallen victim to internet hijinks or rampant conspiracy theories.

For several years, he has held the belief that President Barack Obama was a citizen of Kenya, and has on multiple occasions demanded that his birth certificate be revealed.

Later, he was swept up in the craze of finding the truth about Walt Disney’s supposedly cryogenically-sealed head, and he has even retweeted a post claiming that Mary Poppins was a student at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

When approached for an interview, The Ferret Truther refused to offer their real identity, saying that they “didn’t want to risk getting found out by the Ferret Society.”

They didn’t have much to say about the incident, besides the fact that they were glad “the truth was getting out there.”

Joe Biden is not the only person in the public eye that they have accused of being a number of secret ferrets. The Olsen twins, Idris Elba and P!nk have also been featured on their channel for various ferret-related suspicions and conspiracies.

As of right now, the Biden campaign has remained silent in the face of these accusations, but it is worth noting that an employee of the team was caught buying ferret food and carrying a bag from the local dry cleaners in Washington, D.C.
