On Feb. 19 Spectrum Entertainment Board posted a video to its Facebook page announcing the lineup of Spring events. The events include a visit from Dinosaur Barbeque on May 9 and a headliner concert on April 12. The name of the headliner will be announced at Spectrum’s “Artists on the Rise” concert on Thursday, Feb. 26 following a performance by New Masons, the third and final act of the night.

The video was first shown to Spectrum’s general assembly at their general body meeting and then posted to Spectrum’s Facebook page later that night. Starring Spectrum’s E-board members — including President Stephanie Willis and Vice President Michael Gonzalez-Kelly — the video featured a fictional narrative following Gonzalez-Kelly’s pursuit of discovering the name of the headliner.

While playful and humorous, the video contained important information including dates, as well as Spectrum’s need for security volunteers at the headliner concert.

As of the publication of this article, the video currently has 1,263 views. The second half of the video will be shown at the “Artists on the Rise” event on Feb. 26 and will feature a guest appearance by President Virginia Horvath.
