BREAKING NEWS:

Recent rumors surrounding the greatest group of Avengers of all time have been confirmed by Marvel President Kevin Feige: the Great Lake Avengers will finally be making their debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The story follows Mr. Immortal (played by Djimon Honsou) as he starts looking to form a team to train the next generation of heroes. He has to recruit them right in time for Christmas before the holidays are completely ruined.

Squirrel Girl, Monkey Joe, Grasshopper and Tippy Toe will be among the new recruits in the Great Lake Avengers.

The new recruits along with Dinah Soar, Flatman and Doorman will all team up to defeat the most powerful villain of all time — Dr. Tannenbaum.

Another MCU favorite will be making an appearance as their trainer. Jeremy Renner will be reprising his role as Hawkeye from his other previous movies.

Anna Kendrick will be leading the pack playing Squirrel Girl along with Monkey Joe voiced by Ian McKellen and Tippy Toe voiced by Cher. Grasshopper will also be played by Brendan Fraser.

To round out the infamous cast, Kristen Stewart will play Dinah Soar, Steve Martin as Flatman, Billy Crystal as Doorman and David Spade playing the evil Dr. Tannenbaum.

Recent reports state that the new recruits of “Great Lake” Avengers will come just in time to give the original team a vacation.

The Great Lake Avengers originally made their debut in July 1989 in “West Coast Avengers: Vol 2” #46 and were created by John Byrne.

The response from fans was groundbreaking and they continued to publish more comics of the group.

Fans have been pushing and rallying on Twitter for Marvel Studios to finally add these iconic superheroes into the very successful Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It’s no wonder that with a fanbase this big that they didn’t decide to greenlight this project sooner.

If The Great Lake Avengers is just as successful, they might have a spin-off solo movie based off of the hero Glob Herman.

Hardcore Glob Herman fans are hoping to one day see their favorite pink squishy superhero finally take down some bad guys on the big silver screen.

It will only be a matter of time before we see all these iconic heroes kicking butt and taking names on the big screen and finally join the cinematic universe family.
