When the fall 2022 semester kicks off at the end of August, students will have the chance to take part in an abundance of activities on Fredonia’s campus.

On top of the upcoming activities planned throughout the semester, Fredonia will also be starting the 2022-2023 sports season with six different teams to watch.

At the beginning of the fall semester, students will be able to attend games and matches for men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, women’s tennis and women’s volleyball. The season for the teams listed above will start at the end of August and will run through the end of October.

Once the Blue Devils regular season is over, be on the lookout for some playoff action, as we could potentially see the Blue Devils at the SUNYAC tournaments during the beginning of November.

Throughout the fall season, you will notice that each team has different playing areas located throughout campus. Soccer home games for both teams will be played at University Stadium, located on Ring Road just past Igoe Hall and near the student overnight parking lots.

Men’s and women’s cross country will also take place farther up Ring Road, just near the nature trails. Tennis matches will be played at the Steele Hall Tennis Courts, which sits just outside Steele Hall and next to Dods Grove.

Finally, volleyball will be played inside Dods Hall Gymnasium, located on the second floor inside Dods Hall next to the Blue Devil Fitness Center.

Students will have the option to attend any on-campus sporting event free of charge to them. All you have to do is present your FREDCard at the entrance of the event, and that will give you free access to the game.
